Exploring Our Patch

Just a stone's throw to the beach.

We are fantastically located betwixt Sea to the South and the Downs to the North and between the cities of Chichester to the west and Brighton (one of the most vibrant, creative and colourful cities in Europe, renowned for its Regency architecture and beachfront cool!) to the east.

You really could not be better placed to enjoy all the many attractions in Sussex.

Staying at the Ardington, Worthing's highest-rated hotel puts you within easy reach of many of the natural attractions of the area, such as our stunning seafront, with its miles of cycle lanes and wide promenade just perfect for an evening stroll and less than a minute from our front door and the South Downs Natural Park, a wonderful area for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers alike.

Food and Drink

If dining out is your thing, you are in for a treat! Worthing has an abundance of high-quality restaurants and cafes. From the opened 'Pitch' by Kenny Tutt, winner of the Masterchef 2018 to the critically acclaimed 'Crabshak' on the seafront, tp homemade Sicilian Gelato at Guiseppe's and the perfectly brewed coffee at Malt, Worthing really does have something for everyone. From Sushi to Turkish, Thai to Artisan Pizza, with over 250 restaurants and cafes you are sure to find somewhere you will love. And of course don't forget to visit our restaurant Indigo Seafood ann Grill, Worthing's only AA Rosette-awarded restaurant.

A cocktail

From Whisky bars, cocktail lounges, Microbreweries and friendly local pubs, all tastes are catered for. Or why not try one of our superb gins from our dedicated Gin & Tonic menu or perhaps something from our comprehensive and interesting wine list and relax in our comfortable lounge after a long day sightseeing and watch the world go by.

Places to Visit

Local: Worthing Pier, winner of the 2019 Pier of the Year Award! An evening stroll here is a must to see the wonderful stained glass art panels that line the centre panels of the pier; slow down, watch the local fisherman, maybe spend some pennies in the traditional Amusement arcade and then finish with a drink while the sun sets at the Southern Pavilion.
